Printmaking through Photographic and Alternative Processes

Liz Kendig is a printmaker and photographer living and working out of her home studio in York Haven, Pennsylvania. She received her BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and is currently showing work and hosting workshops locally.

Originally from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, her work is heavily influenced by the native landscape. Her site-specific work originated from her interest in local conservation efforts, the first in the series being at House Rock in Pequea, PA. From there she took her interest in creating site-specific work into Maryland, where she collected found objects and created “sculptural photographs” to give these abandoned items a new end.
